About The Builder
I always knew I wanted to build homes. My father is a residential contractor, and I was raised in the field. I loved the design and building process from a young age, and I knew that was the career path I wanted to take.
I graduated from Tate High School and went on to Florida State University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Real Estate, and I have been a licensed Certified Building Contractor in the state of Florida since 2001. This allows me to build homes throughout the state but my focus lies in Pensacola and its surrounding areas.
After college, I returned to the family business, first working alongside my father and then opening my own company. I got more involved in my profession, serving as a board member for the Home Builders Association and as chairman of its Custom Builders Council.
I was born and raised in the Pensacola area, and I absolutely love this community. My wife, Laura, and I have a son named Ward. They mean everything to me, and I cannot imagine living or raising my family anywhere else.
There really is no place like home, and that’s why I’m so passionate about my work as a homebuilder in this area. I love that I get to build something that a family will live in and enjoy for many years. Nothing can compare to seeing a beautiful finished home at the end of the process. That’s why I started Kevin Russell Builders.
Most days you will find me on the site of my latest projects, working closely with my clients and a team of skilled subcontractors to bring a new family’s dreams to life.
